Slugmaaa by Foureyedalien Slugmaaa by Foureyedalien
First thing I've sculpted in over two months. :(

I've been in a huge sewing/drawing mood lately, so my clay has been rather lonely.

I figured I would break that by making one of my most favorite Pokemon. Slugma.

I played around with this a bit. I scorched him a bit with a lighter. I really love the effect and I hope to try working with this technique a bit more in the future.

*0* I thought hoppip was your favorite!
The scorched edges on her makes it much more realistic.

You should've done that with translucent clay! It would be so much nicer!

Oooh, that's a good idea, I'll have to try that! I haven't worked with the translucent that much, so I'll have to practice a bit.

I find that dunking it in cold water once it's done curing will give the best results with the translucency.
